Isa's Restoratives

Pin It! Google It!

Isa's Restoratives Immortelle Beauty Balm is a blend of fast-absorbing oils and butters delivering their deeply restorative and anti-inflammatory properties in a yellow gold texture melting at the touch of the skin.

Ideal for all skin types it is highly moisturising and won't leave a shiny film to the complexion.

Cupuaçu, one of the superfruit of Brazil is leading the pack of anti-dehydration oils & butters, with Jojoba, Babassu, Murumuru, Red Raspberry & Argan. All deeply nourish and regenerate, while retaining water into the skin and healing its hydrolipidic barrier, supported by Marshmallow extract, Nature's form of Hyaluronic Acid.

Cupuaçu is also highly anti-inflammatory, as are fatty-acid-rich Sea-Buckthorne & anti-bacterial Tamanu. They helps reduce redness, stress and inflammation of the skin.

Rosehip oil, Co enzyme Q10 and a proprietary blend of deeply antioxidant & regenerative plants boost the skin natural healing system, collagen production and cellular turnover for a stronger, renewed complexion.

With essential oils of precious Immortal, Rose & Carrot, the skin is protected, balanced, its elasticity is restored, ageing damages diminished.

Strongly antioxidant & deeply emollient, the Immortelle Balm leaves the skin revitalised, supple and soothed.

Isa is the heart and mind behind her namesake plant-based skincare that is Isa's Restoratives.
Growing up in Brazil's widespread countryside, Isa has been using folk medicine from a very young age and knows the benefits and effects of pure plants on skin and mind.
Now living in Brooklyn, she embarked on a journey back to find again pure, fresh plant formulas. Working with scientists and herbalists from around the world, she studied plant properties in a scientific manner, loving to know the chemistry of it all, at the base of formulating truly restorative products.

With a mind focused on sustainability, Isa uses mainly locally grown and mindfully harvested, privileging on plants that are very abundant in her area, like Wild rose, Violet, Mugwort, Comfrey, Chickweed... When purchasing, she works of course with trusted suppliers, often local or small businesses and even grows some of the plants in her own garden.

Producing in small batches to insure freshness and attention to details, Isa is happy to gift her creations to us in sleek and gorgeous packaging you'll love to re-use.

Do not let water or moisture inside the jar. Keep in a cool, dark place.

What to do in case the balm melted ?

First rest assured, it is in no way ruined or less efficient. A change in texture does not affect the product performance. Now that you are reassured...

To restore it to the texture you love:
- if it is still liquid, place the whole jar in the fridge overnight. Et voilà!
- if it solidified again at room temperature leaving white grains (see note below *) and you prefer the original texture, place the closed jar in water-bath of low simmering water to allow the balm to melt slowly (do not heat to a boil, and do not allow water to get into the jar). Then place the slightly cooled jar and melted balm in the fridge overnight. Et voilà (again)!

* note on white grains forming in the balms: they are simply solid lipids. They melt at the touch and heat of your skin, and there is absolutely nothing wrong or bad with them. It doesn't affect the balm performance.
